THE MATERIAL OF CONTACT LENSES

The materials of contact lenses are mainly silicone hydrogels and hydrated polymers (methyl methacrylate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, glycerol methacrylate, etc.). Silicone hydrogel is an organic polymer material, which is hydrophilic and has a biphasic material framework, which is often used to make contact lenses.
